Fulcrum is a pioneer in using storytelling to attract & close financing. Our mission is to positively impact humanity’s future through supporting select entrepreneurs. We partner with startup founders who are building companies that support human wellbeing, and help them step into leadership to close follow-on financing for their ventures.

Most of the companies we work with are referred through our partners, and our work helps funds and accelerators improve portfolio returns through greater follow-on activity. Since 2019 we have worked with over 100 founders to secure more than $60M in follow-on financing.

An engagement with us means comprehensive support to secure the next round. Through working with us, startup founders make the leap from founder to CEO, and build the capacity to create companies that positively impact humanity’s future.

As a core part of our mission and leverage, Fulcrum focusses on companies that positively impact human wellbeing. We focus on the fields of healthtech, climatetech and related fields. We work with a small handful of companies per year.

Our Story

Fulcrum was founded in 2019 by serial social entrepreneur Will Sacks with the mission to empower socially-minded entrepreneurs and help them succeed at raising capital.

Known colloquially as “The Weapon”, Will is a technologist, futurist and master storyteller who specializes in distilling a company story into a powerful message that resonates with investors, making attracting follow-on funding 10-100x easier. Entrepreneurs have been coming to Will for help with their story, pitch and fundraising campaigns for over 15 years. In that time, companies that Will has worked with personally have raised more than $100M.

Will previously created a solar powered race car that he raced from Chicago to Los Angeles, and founded Kindara, the first venture funded femtech company (acquired in 2018 after raising $9M in funding). After Kindara was acquired, Will started working with CEO’s and became frustrated at witnessing a steady stream of good companies that died after the founder failed to secure follow-on funding. Fulcrum grew out of Will’s desire to positively impact founders who are passionate about positively impacting the world.
